Amanda Levete at Luminaire Chicago

Posted inID Mag

On June 10, British FutureSystems architect and designer Amanda Levete spoke at Chicago’s Zolla/Lieberman Gallery as part of Luminaire’s annual lecture series. Timed to coincide with the contract furniture fair NeoCon, Levete’s lecture also complemented an exhibition of her furniture at the company’s showroom across the street. The ongoing show includes Levete’s familiar cursive forms, including a swooshing chandelier for Swarovski Crystal Palace, a high-gloss fire-engine red bench and a nearly levitating shelf in chartreuse, both for Established and Sons. luminaire.com, futuresystems.com Photos by Christopher Dilts
