Miami Party Pics: Days 2 and 3

December 5, 2008. Company holiday parties may be an endangered species this year, but despite early predictions of impending doom, the party circuit hasn’t slowed down the slightest bit this year at Miami Basel. We could only manage to attend a tiny sliver of the offerings—we missed a Russell Simmons bash at the Mondrian and Gallerie Perrotin celebrating its Pharrell Williams collection at Le Baron, for which we were too exhausted and hungry to brave the lines—but we rounded up some photos of the opening of the Marcel Wanders–decorated Mondrian hotel, Harry Allen‘s GlassLab performance, the Rubell Family Collection’s annual brunch with Domino magazine, Visionaire’s Krug-sponsored shindig in the backyard of the Raleigh, Luminaire’s PaperLove charity auction (where Ross Lovegrove reportedly started stripping to up the bids on his contribution, though we left too soon to see it with our own eyes), and finally, Arik Levy screwing in a lightbulb. Guess you had to be there.
