December 17, 2008. Tomorrow night, the Storefront for Art & Architecture will host the launch of New York-based nARCHITECTS’ first monograph from 6:30-8:00pm. The 216-page book charts the first eight years of the studio, which was founded in 1999 by Eric Bunge and Mimi Hoang,

in both Korean and English. The publication will showcase 16 built and speculative projects, architecture that floats, makes sound, moves, and sometimes disappears, using photographs, diagrams, construction drawings and texts by the architects, themselves.

Projects include their Bamboo Canopy for MoMA/P.S.1, the Switch Building in Manhattan, and Villa-Villa for the Ordos 100 project. Published by Design Document, a branch of Mook magazine that produces monographs of young international firms. nARCHITECTS 2000 – 2008 will be available in the US in March. storefrontnews.org
