Product of the Week: 5/6/08

For its first Eco Collection, U.K.-based wallpaper manufacturer Graham & Brown embarked on a 4-month collaboration with 22 students from the Central St. Martins design school in London. The resulting range is sustainable without eschewing style, with each paper addressing an environmental hot-button, from endangered bird species to rising fuel costs. To date, five winners’ designs have been put into production: Printed on paper sourced from responsibly managed timber, each employs only water-based inks and is delivered in a package made from a compostable corn-based material.
