Dan Wood and Amale Andraos, principals of New York’s WORK Architecture Company, discuss their project for PS1 As odd as it may have been to see, amidst the graffiti and grit of Queens, leafy vegetables sprouting from crop-filled barrels suspended in mid-air, it was stranger still to see all the chickens—dozens of them shaking their crimson waddles to the beat of a DJ in the courtyard of PS1. Last week, Mens Vogue hosted a party at the museum to celebrate the latest winners of its annual Young Architect Program competition: WORK Architecture Company, whose Public Farm 1 installation is currently on view.
