Roadster

One of two chairs introduced by Westhampton, Mass.-based Szado Design at the 2002 Cologne Furniture Fair in January, Roadster puts users in the drivers seat. Climbing into this low-slung chair feels like riding in the cockpit of a single-seater race car. Features include an integral foot rest and leather upholstering, plus Szados trademark brushed stainless-steel tubing, which is welded and fabricated using techniques common to aircraft and race-car production.
