Thomas Meyerhoffer’s Windsail for Hong Kong-based windsurfing design company Neil Pryde is made of x-ply-a mylar with kevlar threading-and carbon-fiber micro-battens. The frame wraps around the sail and opens up in the back to differentiate it from current graphics-heavy models. The lightweight sail is the first not to have a colored mast sleeve, colored battens or large graphics. A mid-sized sail retails between $450 and $550. www.neilpryde.com
