Design Miami: New Rizzoli Design Book Releases

December 2, 2008. At Art Basel/Design Miami on Saturday, December 5, Rizzoli will host a triple-play fashion, architecture and design book signing at the Empire Fine Arts gallery from 4:00 to 6:30 PM with author Pamela Golbin, author of Valentino: Themes and Variations, Alastair Gordon, author of Spaced Out: Radical Environments of the Psychedelic Sixties and Todd Merrill who penned Modern Americana. Also worth noting: Rizzoli has recently published the suitably handsome A Portrait of Ted Muehling by Don Freeman, a compendium of Freeman’s photographs of Muehling’s design over 25 years with text by longtime I.D. contributor and Parsons professor, Susan Yelavich.
