It’s Towel Day—the annual celebration of Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which is turning 42 this year. (A rather special birthday, as fans of the series know.)
Though in-person Hitchhiker gatherings have been canceled due to the pandemic, the series’ ubiquitous mantra is perhaps more relevant than ever these days: Don’t Panic.
