My favorite part of the Regional Designs Awards each year is the slew of book cover designs that we receive from each region. The old adage may be never judge a book by its cover, but we all know how important first impressions are. And I know I’m not the only one who’s a sucker for a good-looking book.
So if you’re looking to add something to your summer reading list for 2018, you may want to consider the following titles with their Regional Design Award–winning book cover designs. They won’t disappoint. And if they do, at least you have a gorgeous piece of art to place on your bookshelf.
Oh, and don’t forget: The 2018 Regional Design Awards are now accepting entries for all 26 of its categories. The extended deadline to enter is April 30 at 11:59 EDT. This year’s panel of A-list judges includes Sagi Haviv, Alexander Isley, Gail Anderson, Nancy Skolos, Rebeca Méndez, Chad Michael and Justin Peters. We’ve also updated our prizes this year.
