THE CAUSE

“The charity I’m supporting is Bone Cancer Research UK. The reason I have chosen this particular charity is that the daughter of a friend of mine is very ill, and this is the charity they personally support. My hope is that Rose, who is only seven, but is an incredibly brave and lovely little girl, gets well soon, and that in some small way this bag might help put a smile on her face and bring some much-needed cash to this wonderful charity.”

THE CONCEPT

“I wanted to convey the idea of love and support. Rather than have a straightforward call-to-arms, I was attracted to the thought of an idea that could work on two levels, so what seems at first glance to be prosaic/utilitarian instructions on how to use the bag becomes a demand for a hug and support from the holder of the bag.”

See the complete set at My Design Shop. There are only 25 of each design, and they all come with a handmade hang tag and are individually numbered. All proceeds will go to the charity that the designer has chosen.
