Richard Florida, founder of The Creative Class Group and author of a book named the same, is showing some of his research at The Atlantic. He’s showing the top ten cities supporting new growth of ideas, but doing so with a few different methods.

Richard’s looking to define what sort of a community is able and willing to withstand new ideas and self-expression, and therefore creative (and hopefully economic) prosperity based upon innovation. A bit to chew over, but valuable research if you’re looking to relocate your practice somewhere friendlier to a more freeform lifestyle.

Don’t forget, I’m giving out a couple of full licenses to TypeDNA from Monday’s Obsessions, this coming Monday. Retweet my latest message saying so or send an @reply to houseofpretty on twitter, and I’ll add you to the drawing. Winners will be announced next Monday in the column.
