OAX Original

“Limited-edition mezcal OAX Original taps into some of Mexico’s architectural heritage for a range of gloriously crafted spirits. Designed by studio Bardo Industries, OAX Original comes housed in beautiful ceramic bottles, rather than the more traditional glass. Know MSG

“[MSG is a] food additive that’s frowned upon by plenty of folks because, at some point, someone told them that MSG was bad for them. And they accepted it to be true because why wouldn’t it be? Now, a new campaign from Ajinomoto, one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of MSG, wants to dispel the myths and assumptions long associated with the flavor enhancer, and they’ve enlisted the likes of Zipeng Zhu of NYC creative studio Dazzle, Pepper Teigen, and upstart Asian food brand Omsom to replace the archaic and outdated ‘No MSG’ symbol.”

Forets Proteins

“Japanese design agency Stamp strikes again. We’re digging the pop-art, geometric-patterned brand design for Forets Proteins. This Japanese protein company allows a different key color to give each protein variant its own personality and dynamic identity. The modern and bold sans-serif typeface makes this new line of protein shakes stand out on a shelf and will invigorate a generation of athletes.”

O’Doul’s x Match

“According to dating site Match.com’s survey ‘Singles in America,’ about one in three people still feel social pressure to order a boozy beverage on a first date, and now, alcohol-free beer brand O’Douls wants to relieve folks of some of that stress with a new limited-edition can that won’t make you feel like a teetotalling no-fun. … O’Douls’ new label features work by illustrator Abbey Lossing, with its ultimate intention to initiate conversation, helping smooth over some of that first date awkwardness without resorting to alcohol.”

RÖD Aperitif
