5 Package Designs of the Week

When it comes to the world of packaging, no one covers it more comprehensively than Dieline—so we’ve partnered with our friends at the site on a column, 5 Package Designs of the Week. Check in every Friday for five of the finest pieces of pack from the week that was.

Amuleto Portal

“The power of plants is endless. Thankfully, the design world is leaning into the idea that their medicinal properties can help heal people without being too clinical in their visuals. The Amuleto Portal packaging uses a clever color scheme to denote which system in the body the plant extracts target. The floral elements utilize colors and white cut-outs to draw the consumer in and allow the intersection of medicine and nature to be the main focus of the design.”

Dove’s Refillable Deodorant

“Refillable deodorant is all the rage, and plenty of millennial-Gen Z–chasing DTC brands have reeled in consumer dollars with beautiful design (and a higher price point). But many of the largest brands are still packaging their wares in plastic and have yet to catch up with the cool kids. Now, Unilever’s Dove is working alongside A Plastic Planet to reduce its plastic footprint and is introducing a refillable deodorant, a first for the iconic brand.”

Daily Zens

“We’re digging the clean, minimalist design for Daily Zens, a new line of candles that understands that the way we interact with smells is varied and deserves a blank canvas to experience them. By allowing the containers to be pearl white with elongated labels running down each jar, the candles feel like they belong in the MoMA.”
