Hop aboard the S.S. Nice.

Like so many creative studios, the team at Reactor in Kansas City, MO, took a hit during the COVID-19 pandemic. So they pivoted to new business—specifically, their own revenue stream powered by positivity. S.S. Nice: Send Something Nice.

As the studio writes, “We believe there’s no better time than the present to make someone smile, and no happier time than receiving a package. Thus, S.S. Nice was created to spread the niceties and remind people they can still find something nice even when the times may suck.”

In addition to a host of day-brightening freebies—including colorful and character-driven mobile, desktop and Zoom backgrounds, in addition to Spotify playlists—the main offering is a set of curated packages that you can send to friends, employees or clients.

There’s a good vibes pack that features S.S. Nice stickers, notecards and a notebook; a pack that features branded snacks, stickers and more; a Big Box of Fun that features a Nerf nanofire toy, LEGO figurines and Nintendo villains; a webcam cover pack; and a host of others.

A portion of all proceeds also goes to the BaristaKC Virtual Tip Jar, to support those who have kept the Reactor team happily caffeinated over the years.

If you want to send someone (or even yourself …) a ray of sunshine today, explore the galleys and amenities of the S.S. Nice here.
