Canned and tinned food gets a bad wrap—literally. The packaging tends to be perpetually lacking, though the product inside in many cases is anything but.
So Lindsay Megan Silveira of the Goa, India–based Linsanity Design decided to forge a new path forward in her quest to support local fisheries with some premium branding.
“We went against all packaging and labeling norms in this usually traditional industry to appeal to today's quarantined customer that relies on canned food solutions,” she says.
With careful deployment of color, type, geometry, a well-placed tab and badges to boot, Silveira has indeed forged a new path forward for her local fisheries.
