Jimi Hendrix would have been 70 this year—and very experienced. John Van Hamersveld’s classic Pinnacle Concert poster of Hendrix is 45. To celebrate, the graphics company Post-Future—run by Alida Post and Hamserveld, along with Shepard Fairey—is making a silkscreen five-color poster available, as well as the original advert that ran in the Los Angeles Free Press for $600. A complete set of silkscreen Hamersveld Hendrix portraits, with the electric hair, is also available for $800 each. And for the pauper among us, Hendrix guitar picks are available at $10 a tin—and in six groovy colors too. If you need more visual stimulation, scroll down for a video with JVH and Fairey.
