Lots o’ Laffs
Everyone has a friend or two who is worthy of novelty or amusing greeting, birthday or anniversary cards. There are indeed a lot to choose from. In the ’60s this was one of the popular brands of the day:
Drawn in the famous Nebbish style, the cards had an easy-going put-down quality that lightly insulted the receiver while showing off the passive aggressive wit of the sender. Here are some that may bring back a memory or two.
