Mini Play in Mini Scenes

Before dynamic online play scenarios, paper was the main platform for fun and games. This Children’s Theater presentation of “The Black Pirate” is about the size of a regular envelope and filled with colorfully printed sets, characters and props—oh yeah, and a script in three acts. Considering the large funding investments that go into video games these days, it’s sobering to think that such artistry as this was done in such a simple format without the fanfare required to sell digital diversions.
