Mostly, nay, Entirely Mozart

By: Steven Heller | April 29, 2010

Mark Podwal—children’s book illustrator, film producer, and M.D.—has just released a celebration of Mozart Fantasies in a box … greeting cards, that is, for the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The cards show: Don Giovanni and Papagano from “The Magic Flute,” Cherubino from “The Marriage of Figaro,” Pasha Selim from “The Abduction From the Seraglio,” and my personal favorite, Publio from “La Clemenza di Tito.” For Mozart fans and opera buffs, this is a great way to share the love. And you don’t have to wait until the “fat lady sings.”
