Obeya has crafted the artful branding system for Riksteatern, better known as "Sweden's Stage," for showcasing different performances from theatre, dance, and music. Because COVID closed their doors, for the time being, they decided to launch this year's repertoire via an artful and impactful box filled with receipts and designs that catalog the performances. While the overall aesthetic is simple, the design is in the details with holographic typefaces, pops of neon, and unique ways of presenting photographs. Rikesteatern might not be able to host performers on their stage, but their brand remains center stage with their design craftsmanship and creative thinking.

Each season, Riksteatern presents its repertoire to invited journalists and guests. But when the COVID pandemic put an end to a physical press conference, the theater chose to instead launch the repertoire in a box to give an insight and taste of the theater- and dance performances in the spring of 2021. All of the events were unfortunately canceled due to Corona and possibly postponed to the autumn.

The box contains layers for the recipient to explore, with printed matter interpreting and highlighting five selected performances, and in the final layer, a program that presents all performances and reveals the sender.

The box is crafted in a limited edition of 50, on Colorit paper with foiling and embossing in Foilco's Rainbow Holographic Silver. The printed matters are printed locally in Stockholm with after-treatments by hand.
