We all need something—anything—to provide a daily dose of happiness. I recently received an envelope from Stefan Sagmeister (who, as some may know, devised an entire exhibition and film on happiness), that included a personal greeting and a wonderful black and cobalt face mask designed by Anni Kuan. It made me smile, injected that daily dose of happiness, and got me up off my rear to go outside for 20 minutes under the sunny blue sky. A simple act of kindness goes a long, long way in relieving the coronavirus blues.
Incidentally, happy early Mother’s Day (this year it may mean more than ever before).
