This account is well-curated, perfectly hilarious, and maybe even a little too on the nose.
Sometimes thrifting can be overwhelming, to say the least. Thanks to this account, you can see all the best (i.e., funny) parts of thrift stores without having to do any of the heavy lifting. Don't let the name scare you off. Filthy Rat Bag is an Instagram account dedicated to quirky illustrations that make you go, "huh." I'm sure you'll find at least one piece that you can identify with, if not all of them. The drawings are casual, and the color palette consistently sticks to reds, blues, and yellows making for a very consistent feed even though every doodle is drastically different. From a sardine sitting in a tin of water that reads, "I stopped waiting for the rain to pass," to a pig wearing a crown and swimsuit with the statement, "The world never fails the beautiful." You can't not love this account; it makes you think.
