Bruno Munari’s Facial Recognition
Infinite Expressions in Alla Faccia
In his book Alla faccia, the futurist, progressive, children’s and adult illustrator and designer Bruno Munari (1907–1998) created countless faces through different types of signs. Each is different, yet they are all recognizable, demonstrating how a single concept can be infinitely expressed. Munari always paid special attention to the world of children. Never separating content from form and materials, what he designed were at once books, book-objects and games that would make us think. Now, for the first time, Corraini Editions presents a series of 16 fine art prints taken from Alla faccia.
