In less than two months, thousands of graphic designers and other creative professionals will gather in Boston for HOW Design Live. Held from June 21 to 25, the multi-conference event features inspirational talks from design leaders like Chip Kidd, Debbie Millman, and Pum and Jake Lefebure, and offers attendees the chance to network with thousands of other designers. If you register today, you can take advantage of special early-bird rates.

HOW Design Live brings HOW magazine—Print‘s sister publication—to life. HOW will hold four of its nationally recognized conferences concurrently, bringing together a diverse mix of designers, writers, photographers, illustrators, and other creative professionals. This mega-event includes HOW Design Conference, InHOWse Managers Conference, Creative Freelancer Conference, and the Dieline Package Design Conference (held in conjunction with the renowned design website TheDieline.com). All the events are located in the Hynes Convention Center, in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.
This year, HOW Design Live’s theme is “Design Revolution.” It’s a tribute to the city of Boston, but more important, a way to energize attendees with a call to action for personal and professional empowerment. The theme fits perfectly with HOW Design Live’s official nonprofit partner, EPIC, an organization that pairs nonprofits with designers and other creatives for design-focused projects. HOW has selected speakers who embody the spirit of a “Design Revolutionary”—just read these interviews with two of them, Justin Ahrens and Simon T. Bailey. They’re just a sampling of the creative design visionaries who make up HOW Design Live.
