Emons was founded in 1928 and is a family-run company in the transport and logistics sector. Its wordmark was initially lettered by hand and is an integral part of the famous red truck's design. Recently, the brand planned a new campaign and needed to create the company's first custom typeface. The first order of business was to closely inspect the already beloved logo and study the primary hand lettering. Next, the font was designed in Illustrator and then prepared in Glyphs. The custom script font is now used widely across the brand's platforms, showcasing how impactful having a custom brand font can be. Truly iconic.
