The Bill of Rights in Word and Picture

Today marks the opening of “We the People“—a poster exhibit at The Cooper Union that brings the Bill of Rights to life.

Co-hosted by ThoughtMatter, Mirko Ilić and The Constitutional Sources Project (ConSource), this landmark show features new works by prominent American graphic designers exploring the first 10 amendments to the U.S. Constitution.

Holding our democracy together is a piece of paper emblazoned with the basic rights that make America what it is today. This exhibition shows how designers respond to this cornerstone of U.S. freedom.
