PRINT’S 2015 REGIONAL DESIGN ANNUAL – Historic Year, Historic Recognition
The Regional Design Annual is the industry’s most prestigious and well-respected American design competition. As the only comprehensive survey of U.S. design by region, tens of thousands of art directors, studios and creative professionals look to the RDA every year to find the country’s top talent.

Extended Deadline: May 15, 2015
Winning entries will be:
- Featured in the 2015 Regional Design Annual issue of Print magazine.
- Celebrated on the Regional Design Annual website.
Early-Bird deadline: February 27, 2015 – $75 single entry fee and $100 campaign and series entry fee** Regular deadline: April 10, 2015 – $85 single entry fee and $110 campaign and series entry fee**
- Extended deadline: May 15, 2015 – $85 single entry fee and $110 campaign and series entry fee**
All entries must be submitted online or postmarked no later than February 27, 2015 to receive the special early-bird entry fee. Entries submitted online or postmarked after February 27 will be charged our regular entry fees.
By submitting work and entry fees, entrants acknowledge Print’s right to show the winners in Print’s Regional Design Annual 2015 and on its website and related digital products.
** Ad campaigns, book cover series, corporate brochure series, or poster series will all be considered campaigns. Any packaging entry, whether a single package or a family of packages, will be considered a single entry. Any letterhead entry that consists of stationery, envelope, and business card will be considered a single entry.
Winners will be notified on or before November 30, 2015.
WHO: Any art director, designer, illustrator, photographer, typographer, etc., working anywhere in the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
WHAT: Any printed communication or web design that appeared or was published in the U.S. between January 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014.
From within the online entry form, you will be given several options for supplying your project/entry. Options include: Digital Uploads, Physical Samples via mail, Web Based Entries / URL’s or a combination of these methods. You may submit up to 10 files per entry (5 MB per file). File formats for digital images include: .jpg; .jpeg; .tif in RGB color mode no smaller than 3 inches for the shortest dimension at 300 dpi. Larger dimensions are preferred for detail and cropping. File formats for video include: .mov; .avi; .mp4; .wma. Please include screen captures or still images for production in the magazine (use file specs from above). If submitting physical samples, and digital images are also available, please include both.
If your work is selected as a finalist you may be asked to send a sample.
Please make credits and descriptions as complete and accurate as possible. For symbol and logo entries in particular, state the nature of the client’s business. Note: Artists’ reps who submit entries must state their artists’ location on entry coupons.
