Today is the International Council of Design’s annual World Design Day . This year’s theme: Be Professional, “a reflection on the designer’s role, not only in designing, but in our greater responsibilities towards humanity, the planet and culture.”
To celebrate, ico-D suggests creating your own code of conduct or ethics, and disseminating it within your organization—and they offer up a great list of resources as a starting point here.
ico-D also recommends heading to social media to discuss design professionalism and share resources—which is where we found Asociación de Diseñadores de la Comunitat Valenciana ’s #WDD2020 posts with visuals by Creatias (officially our new favorite studio).
