Last call: The deadline to enter PRINT’s Regional Design Annual is Friday!

Join us as we celebrate the best designs of the year with better coverage of our winners than ever, and be part of the annual that has long been the most esteemed design competition, read and collected by art directors and designers around the world.

So: Why should you enter?

Well, for starters, there’s the newly announced exclusive certificate for winners designed by Timothy Goodman (!). But on the whole …

The best judges in the field will be reviewing your work.

  1. East: Gail Anderson, partner, Anderson Newton Design

  2. Far West: Jennifer Morla, president and creative director, Morla Design

  3. Midwest: Timothy Goodman, award-winning designer, illustrator, art director and author

  4. NYC: Jessica Walsh, partner, Sagmeister & Walsh

  5. South: Bill Grant, president and chief creative officer of Grant Design Collaborative and past national AIGA president

  6. Southwest: Marc English, Design Shaman, Marc English Design

Print presents your work to the world.

From among thousands of entries, our judges select more than 300 of the best designs in the U.S. to be spotlighted in our annual, giving winners unparalleled industry visibility. We believe deeply in the work we curate and publish, and shout it from the rooftops as fully as we can, from a variety of channels.

Winners get complete coverage.

In 2016, the RDA will once again feature an expanded page count to give the competition its full due. Moreover, our judges will once again each select a Best of Region winner, and Print will profile the project and its creators.

The RDA honors all forms of design.

Our categories include annual reports, brochures/catalogs, book jackets/covers, environmental graphics, illustration, photography, invitations/announcements, letterheads, logos, packaging, posters, ads, editorial and book design, self-promotions, wearables, information graphics, web design and multimedia. No matter what you design, there is a place for it in the RDA.

We offer a level playing field.

Anyone can enter the RDA, and everyone competes on an equal plane—from small firms to major corporations to independent designers. The best designs win the day, leading many to have their work discovered, accelerating careers and attracting new clients. All the greats of design have been featured in the RDA over the years, from Michael Bierut to Paula Scher to Stefan Sagmeister. Will you be next?

Nobody does it like us.

The RDA is an annual yearbook of American design excellence. Moreover, it is the only comprehensive survey of design broken down by region, highlighting distinct geographic trends and styles. This will be a seminal year for the RDA, and will give our winners more reach and recognition than ever.
