When culinary apron purveyor Hedley & Bennett discovered there was a shortage of protective gear during the COVID-19 pandemic, they quickly shifted their production focus to masks—and they’ve since been turning out some of the best facial coverings money can buy (really—we’ve tried a lot), while donating some 200,000 to first responders and food service employees.
Now, they’ve released a collaborative mask lineup with Rifle Paper Co., bringing bright design to dark times. The masks, developed with pediatric orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Cho, feature five of Rifle’s patterns: Folk Horse, Rosa Navy, Herb Garden, Wildflower and Rosa Natural. Each comes equipped with a flexible metal nosepiece (glasses-wearers, rejoice), an opening for a disposable filter, and a cross-back ribbon tie to ensure a comfortable fit.
Hedley & Bennett has also announced they are donating 25,000 masks to Baby2Baby, a nonprofit dedicated to providing diapers, clothing and basic essentials to children living in poverty.
