For nearly 40 years, PRINT’s Regional Design Awards has been the industry’s most respected design competition for professionals, regularly drawing entries from the likes of Paula Scher, Michael Bierut, Stefan Sagmeister and many, many others. It has served as a catalogue of graphic design’s greats—and now, we’re looking for the greats of tomorrow.
For the first time in the history of the competition, the RDA will have an entire section devoted specifically to students, organized by category.

PRINT will publish your work and present it to the world. Through both our print publications and our online galleries and newsletters, we give winners unparalleled industry visibility, and we believe deeply in the work we curate and publish, and shout it from the rooftops as fully as we can.

Design awards matter—especially when applying for top-tier co-ops or full-time employment. We’ve long been told that creative directors and art directors peruse our design awards to find emerging talent, and that design awards truly matter when reviewing resumes. When PRINT chooses one’s work as the best in the country, that says something—and it says a lot.

The RDA honors all forms of design. Our categories include brochures/catalogs, book jackets/covers, environmental graphics, illustration, photography, invitations/announcements, letterheads, logos, packaging, posters, ads, editorial and book design, self-promotions, wearables, information graphics, web design and more. No matter what one creates, there’s a place for it in the RDA.
