Those of us who savor razor packaging must have a name — razoficiando or blade-maven. But the reason for such passionate interest is easier to explain. For some reason, long ago, the blade industry decided the best way to distinguish one brand from another was to use clever wrappers, labels and packages. Then they realized because the product is so small it would be a great idea to do clever point of purchase displays. This is one of them from the late ’40s (and it’s for sale available tomorrow here) promoting PAL’s “feather touch” shaves.

Don’t you just love the the PAL mascot? With his lathered face and pointy nose, you can almost hear him say “Man . . . What a Blade!!
