In an eggort to keep all of our patients healthy:

Given the layoffs and closings at some of my favorite magazines over the past year, I thought it couldn’t get any worse for the magazine industry. Until this shocker (above). Here’s proof that sometimes its “nature” not “nurture.” When the largest subscriber to mass market and niche magazines, doctors, says no more, the industry is in even worse trouble than anyone thought.

So, in an effort to keep magazines in doctors’ waiting rooms here’s a suggestion: Always wear gloves and spray the pages you touched with my latest imaginary concoction, “Magaderm,” the sanitizing agent that rids pesky germs from glossy pages and filthy hands. Or bring your own magazines – you’ll be protecting yourself and aiding the industry.
