He hoards and boards. He takes simple graphic objects and crafts them into cornucopias filled with imagery. One could be forgiven for thinking that Lorenzo Petrantoni makes ordered chaos only in the work he does—that his output is the release valve. But that would be wrong. His Milan studio walls, like his engagingly dense collages, are filled to the gills with framed collections that feed his need for over-the-top expression.
