The Daily Heller: A Studio in Need of Another Wall

He hoards and boards. He takes simple graphic objects and crafts them into cornucopias filled with imagery. One could be forgiven for thinking that Lorenzo Petrantoni makes ordered chaos only in the work he does—that his output is the release valve. But that would be wrong. His Milan studio walls, like his engagingly dense collages, are filled to the gills with framed collections that feed his need for over-the-top expression. Here is a little look at the four walls that are quintessential Petrantoni, along with some of his incomparable output.

And anticipating me only question, he says, “Yes it is perfect, I find everything immediately without wasting time searching.”
