BetVictor, an online casino, has created a set of hypothetical playing card designs in the styles of Banksy, Picasso, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.

The design of a playing card is iconic. "From the Ace of Spades to the Jack of Hearts, we can picture each and every one," writes Travis Adshead in BetVictor's "The Art of Playing Cards," a study hypothesizing how classic playing cards would look if they were recreated by renowned artists. "Playing cards have been enjoyed since the ninth century and have developed significantly into the designs we know and love today. Down the years they’ve been adapted and developed, influenced by the style and movements of the times."

Here's a look at the sets.
