Video producer and designer Graham Elliott wrote to tell me “I am closing in on completing the New York in Motion documentary.” That was then, it is finished now.
The film, which features some of the most ambitious motion makers in New York, will premiere 7:30 tonight, Thursday April 14th, in the SVA Theatre. “As part of the package I am publishing a booklet with information about the film and the people involved,” he added. “I also plan to have a foldout illustration/photo collage highlighting the technical and cultural advances/highlights that have given Motion Design it’s omnipresence and availability.”
