Posterized Beach Boys

The Fender Visitor Center in Corona, California will present starting on August 5 a limited engagement exhibit celebrating my favorite surf band, the Beach Boys. The exhibit titled “Made In California” coincides with the release of a Beach Boys 50th (OMG!!) anniversary box set retrospective on Brother Records. Authentic Beach Boys memorabilia will be on display plus a gallery of newly discovered photos of Carl Wilson touring the Fender factory in 1965.

The official poster for the exhibit, has been designed by John Van Hamersveld, former art director of Surfer magazine, who’s iconic work has graced such well know album covers as the “Endless Summer” soundtrack, the Beatles’ “Magical Mystery Tour” and Rolling Stones’ “Exile on Main Street”. “The Beach Boys: Made In California” exhibit poster by JVH ($100 unsigned $150 signed) can be ordered here: postfutureart@gmail.com.
