It used to be that you published a trend report at the tail-end or, conversely, the first week of the new year so that folks could learn all about the emerging design stories they needed to know for the coming 365 days. But in design, that’s no longer the case, as it seems that every creative must keep themselves attuned 24/7 to the narratives and trends that dominate the landscape.
Lucky for us, Monotype and Shutterstock want to keep designers and brands in the know, and they’re hosting a webinar that will dive into what drives the design industry today and beyond. Tune in for all the latest fads and shifts in the worlds of typography, photography, graphic design, and all things branding. You’ll learn about the crucial insights they’ve gathered from consumers, as well as the latest trends in technology. Also, 2020 was pretty darn 2020, and they’ll show designers how they can remain adaptable and resilient in the face of such widespread industry change in a constantly fluctuating marketplace.
Speakers for the event include Shutterstock head of creative Flow Lau and Monotype creative type directors Charles Nix and Phil Garnham.
Monotype already told us about the typographical renaissance that’s happening right before our eyes, and Shutterstock also released their own trend report for 2021, so we’re pretty sure they know a thing or two about what we need to watch out for the rest of the year.
The webinar takes place on June 24th at 1 PM EST. You can register by going here. Happy trending, y’all.
