What does your typical day look like?

Each day is so different. One call in the morning can change the landscape of the day.

How do you procrastinate?

Playing foosball and eating Potbelly sandwiches

What’s on your desk?

Pencils, pens, scrap paper, tape, empty cups, and crumbs

What do you pack when you travel?

Laptop, books, and an iPad

Soundtrack

We just made a Spotify playlist of ’80s and ’90s R&B: Adult Contemporary Jamz.

Who is meant to see the “OMG” sign?

If anyone has even noticed, it had to be the men working directly outside the window. It’s really just a weak knockoff of the sign hanging in the window of Paul Sahre’s office: O.O.P.S.

↑ I set up the type in InDesign and got vinyl type cut for the cover. We then laid down the type on a copper plate that was cut to the size of the cover. Next, we gave the entire thing a patina using a mixture of water, salt, and vinegar. After a few tests, we photographed the plates and picked our favorite one.

↑I used to share the space with Chris Brand, the reigning World Graphic Design Foosball Champion, and the table is technically his. When he moved out of the space, he left it in the office to avoid conflict between him and his girlfriend about having it in their apartment.
