I'm willing to bet that you have thousands of paperclips laying aimlessly throughout the entirety of your house. They're something so seemingly mundane and unimportant. That is until the very moment you absolutely need one to continue your day and can't seem to find one anywhere.
Nick Barclay undertook the challenge of taking something boring and turning it into art. This personal challenge was accomplished through many designs that look as though they were created specifically for a paperclip brand. Keeping the background an almost dull grey and then contrasting it with bright and juicy colors allows your brain to pick up on the juxtaposition between these designs and a physical paperclip. I never thought that I'd want a paperclip-inspired art piece to be hung on my while, but I stand corrected.
