Shoe brand SeeVees and McConnell's fine ice cream teamed up to create soles that are sprinkled with pride. As a lover of both shoes and ice cream, I'm not sure I could think of a better partnership. In addition, the two brands are working together to support the Pacific Pride Foundation, which is a group that helps limit the transmission of HIV/AIDS. So not only can you eat a sweet treat to support a fantastic organization, but you can wear stylish kicks as well; it's a collab that's perfect from taste buds to toe.
In celebration of Pride Month and their LGBTQIA+ friends and allies, McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams has teamed up with SoCal sneaker brand SeaVees to create a special ‘Sprinkled with Pride’ collaboration flavor in addition to a custom, limited edition sneaker.
Launching across McConnell’s scoop shops and online nationwide on June 11, Sprinkled with Pride is a strawberry ice cream with chunks of house-made shortcake, a swirl of house-made strawberry jam, and heaps of rainbow sprinkles.
The custom unisex slip on sneakers from SeaVees incorporates elements of the McConnell’s logo with rainbow swirls and curves and a pink sprinkled outsole that mimics the ‘Sprinkled with Pride’ ice cream.
A portion of proceeds from every scoop and pint sold in addition to $5 from every shoe purchase will support the Pacific Pride Foundation – an organization that advocates and educates to create a thriving and visible LGBTQ+ community and to prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS.
