Product of the Week: 12/9/08

After a long hiatus from the design scene, Alex Valich and Christine Warren of Brooklyn’s Redstr/Collective recently resurfaced with Slave Betty, a prodigal offering that plays on the duo’s fashion past—Valich studied fashion imaging, and the two collaborated with edgy Brit fashion brand Boudicca on their BBDRRR rug—with its intricate cording. Redstr used a single string to harness a traditional Brown Betty pot using the ancient Japanese technique Shibari, or rope bondage. Available at The Future Perfect; $155. www.thefutureperfect.com
