Did you know that about 40% of the United States still has no access to broadband? True story. Rural America—where growth and creativity can happen with a smaller overhead—is currently choked out of net access because of simple wiring problems. The government is currently spending 7.2 billion to wire America, in a move very reminiscent of the TVA’s participation in getting my homelands, the Appalachians, into the twentieth century.
