Ichigo Ichie is a Japanese proverb that emphasizes the importance of the present, the idea that each experience is unique and will never happen exactly the same again, and the need to enjoy each moment. A beautiful idea that inspired Adonna wines, a luxury limited-production wine brand.

Founder Donna Kato’s unique background, deep connection to nature, and expertise in winemaking are woven into every aspect of Adonna Wine. Raised in a family with a long farming tradition, Kato chose a different path, pursuing studies in viticulture and enology before creating a wine brand that reflects both her craft and her heritage.
Her Japanese roots are thoughtfully expressed throughout the identity, with meaningful design elements such as the ginkgo leaf, which serves as a personal symbol of family, culture, and place. The label artwork draws inspiration from traditional Japanese block printing and textile craftsmanship, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens that feels both elegant and enduring. The typography choices, along with the paper choice and printing finishes, tie the entire concept together.
Together, these details create a rich visual narrative that honors Kato’s heritage while bringing depth, authenticity, and distinction to the overall design.

The result is a brand that feels both intimate and enduring. Adonna Wines reflects Donna’s resilience, heritage, and mantra that beauty blooms where intention takes root, inviting wine lovers into a thoughtful relationship with the land, the maker, and the fleeting moments captured in each bottle.
