Pepsi’s design team created five special, limited-edition New York Knicks can designs to celebrate the team’s most loyal fans. Hidden in select bodegas across all five boroughs, each location was teased on social media, challenging diehard fans to track down these highly collectible cans.
Once fans figured out the correct bodega location, they were tasked with answering Knicks trivia questions. Winners received a commemorative can along with two suite tickets to a home game. What a treat for a city that is absolutely buzzing with excitement for its team.

Pepsi’s designs featured the Knicks’ iconic orange and blue color palette, paired with typography that feels distinctly New York—an homage to the lettering and visual language found throughout the city.
Everyone seems to be rooting for the Knicks right now. The team hasn’t been in this position in 27 years, and the energy throughout New York is impossible to ignore. Even if you’re not a Knicks fan, it’s hard not to get swept up in the excitement. Watching New Yorkers celebrate in the streets and proudly represent their city has been incredible to witness.
Wednesday night’s game at Madison Square Garden, their home game before heading to San Antonio, had fans on the verge of losing hope as the Knicks found themselves down by 29 points. Then came a miraculous comeback, capped by a game-changing tip-in from OG Anunoby. The city erupted, with fans pouring into the streets to celebrate one of the most unforgettable wins and greatest comebacks in NBA history.
Beyond Pepsi’s campaign, the Knicks merchandise and branded moments popping up throughout the city have been fantastic. Here are a few of my favorites.

Tonight, as the team heads to San Antonio, we’re all hoping for a Knicks in five.
And finally, a special shoutout to the man who saged MSG after a visit from Donald Trump on Monday—the same day the Knicks lost. I’d like to think his sage-cleansing efforts played at least a small role in Wednesday night’s comeback.
