Last week, we posted about Raj Haldar’s minimalist kid lit cover project to benefit indie bookstores—and on social media, one user noted that the Netherlands-based designer Chungkong turns a minimalist eye to the world of film.

We featured Chungkong back in 2017—and were hyped to see what he has been up to lately. In addition to poster series focused on sports, fantasy luggage tags and music, he is still relentlessly cataloguing all things cinema. To date, he has now made minimal posters for more than 1,200 films. (And in some cases, his poster is better than the film itself.)

Here’s a look at some of the output. It’s marvelous election distraction.
