Exploring time and space through art and design is not a small feat. Lena-Marie Gribl is doing just that with her publication titled Interim. There are explorations of vacancy, potential use, time, space, and emptiness throughout the pages. The editorial layout is simple, perfect for content that is simply the opposite.

Vacancy is a phenomenon that has potential of use. As it is mostly finite, also the utilisation will end at some point of time. For this project i explored temporal limitation in space.

The publication performs as collection of these studies and is splitted in three parts: First a written introduction of the issue vacancy and potential use, second a large part of abstract studies searching borders of time and space. The last part shows photography of set design in real rooms that are empty for a while as form of my own interpretation of short utilization.
