Thank you for your interest in Print in Motion. The deadline for this competition has passed. Winners will be notified by December 31, 2011.

PRINT IN MOTION is Print magazine’s competition dedicated to motion graphics. All winning entries will be featured on our website and receive a special mention in an issue of Print.

Print in Motion 2011 from Print on Vimeo.

Print has covered broadcast design since the invention of the television, and now the explosion of interest in motion graphics has placed more and more work in the public eye—sites like Motionographer and online magazines such as Boards showcase hundreds of motion designers every month, while Vimeo and YouTube have dedicated animation channels that are updated with new work nearly every hour of the day.

We approached the competition with the understanding that Print’s mission extends into the digital graphics industry, and a motion graphics competition that could live online—from submission to eventual display—would serve a community eager to spot burgeoning leaders in the field.

The competition was divided into five categories: film titles, advertising/commercial, music video, show package, and noncommercial/animation.
